Aberdeen Stoneywood Scout Group are taking part in Brimmond Hill, Bucksburn:- Cub Scouts will hike up a nearby hill. 23
Angus Cubs from all over Angus shall be hiking along the 6 mile coastal path between Arbroath and Carnoustie. 150
Antrim 7th Larne Scout Group are taking part in Antrim hills:- Hike and BBQ on the Ulster way. 30
Avon Gordano District are taking part in Mendip Hills:- 2 cubs packs to walk a five mile walk over the Mendip hills. 45
Avon 2nd Clevedon Cub Scouts are taking part in Hike from Clevedon to Glenny Wood Campsite in Clapton in Gordano :- Hike 5.3 miles starting at 17.00 and culminating with hot dogs and marshmallows over campfire at our local Scout Campsite. Will be stopping at Iron-Age hill fort on the way. 24
Ayrshire 12th Ayrshire Scout Group are taking part along Smugglers Trail in Ayrshire:- We will be walking 8k along the Smugglers Trail from Troon to Dundonald in Ayrshire, with lots of fun and games along the way. 18
Bedfordshire Pathfinder Scouts from 2nd Ampthill and Woburn are doing a 5 mile circular work around the area of our Milton Bryan District Campsite followed by a BBQ camp fire and under the stars camp (weather permitting). A total of 13 scouts and 2 leaders. 15
Belfast Lagan District are taking part in Belvoir Forest Park, Belfast.:- We will be undertaking a 5 mile walk through Belvoir Forest Park. 22

Buckinghamshire 1st Aylesbury Scout Group are taking part in Buckinghamshire:- We shall start from our Scout Centre in Aylesbury and Hike to Coombe Hill via Weston Turville to the Wendover Canal Towpath to Wendover and use the Ridgeway Path to Coombe Hill. 30

Buckinghamshire 12th Aylesbury (1st Buckingham Park) Scout Group are taking part in Quarrendon Leas, Aylesbury (west of Buckingham Park):- Exploring the old medieval village of Quarrendon Leas. 60
Buckinghamshire 1st Berryfield Scout Group are taking part in 5k circular walk from Fairford Leyes sports ground Aylesbury:- sponsored walk for group funds 50
Cheshire 1st Over St John's Scout Group are taking part in Winsford and surrounding area:- A 10km walk, taking in the local sites e.g. Salt Mine, Flashes, River Weaver, Whitegate Way. 30
Cheshire 3rd Gee Cross Beaver Scouts are taking part in local area around Hyde,Manchester:- The Beavers (aged 6 to 8 years) are going to hike for 2 hours along the Tran Pennine Trail (an old disused railway track), through a wooded area, along a river and canal and finally a short road walk. 25
Cheshire 16th Beaver Colony are taking part in Hassal Green in Sandbach:- Nature walk 30
Cheshire 1st Helsby Scout Group are taking part in Helsby:- Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to do sectional walks in the local area 45
Cheshire South West Cheshire District are taking part:- Leisurely hike around the countryside. Finishing at Snugburys in Nantwich for an ice-cream. 25
Cheshire 7th & 35th Scout Groups are taking part in Crewe and Nantwich:- 2 groups are hiking together to complete a trail around Nantwich and Crewe. 40
Cheshire Ellesmere Port and Neston District will be taking part in our annual JOTT. Each group makes its way along the Wirral Way, some on bikes some walking. This is a pleasant traffic free path through the Wirral Countryside and along the coastal estuary of the River Dee. Everyone meets up at Thurstaston visitor centre for games and a BBQ. 200
Cleveland 1st Hartburn Sea Scouts are taking part:- A walk in Guisborough forest.. Stopping for lunch and a play in the park. 25
Clwyd 1st Rhyl Scout Group are taking part in Denbigh:- Walk from Denbigh Castle to Segrwyd Hall to Dr Samuel Johnson's Cottage and up to Gwaenynog (Hall) and look for Mr Mcgregor's Potting Shed (Peter Rabbit) then return to start past more historic houses. 14
Clyde 1st Bellshill & Mossend Scout Group are taking part in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire:- The beavers are trekking to a local park. 40
Derbyshire 1st Sawley Phoenix Cub Pack are taking part in hike from Moira Furnance along the Ashby Woulds trail before heading off towards Willesley Woods and on to Willesley Campsite - all in the National Forest, Leicestershire:- As part of our annual Challenge Camp, hike the Ashby Woulds Trail and Willesley Woods before overnight camp at Willesley Campsite in Leicestershire 12
Derbyshire 5th Dronfield Hilltop Cubs are taking part in Dronfield Barn Rotary Walk:- The cubs will be doing an evening hike along a section of the Dronfield 'round' walk which is being re-launched today. They will hike about 5 miles, enjoy a picnic and have some fun in the woods (and maybe the brook) along the way! 30

Devon East Devon District are taking part in a walk in and around Kilmington:- Planned by PLs with Scouts, siblings, leaders, parents, grandparents and dogs. 30
Devon 1st North Devon Barnstaple Scout Group are taking part in Codden hill, giving a good view over our town:- A group walk for all sections. 50
Devon 1st Marwood Scout Group are taking part along the South West Coast Path, North Devon:- A walk from Morthoe village car park, along the coast path to Bull Point lighthouse and return to Morthoe. 14
Devon Exeter District Beavers are taking part in Ashclyst Forest:- Exeter Beavers will walk 2 trails in the forest with their colonies and families. 60
Devon Exeter District are taking part in Exeter Green Circle:- Scouts from Exeter will attempt to complete 1 lap of the Exeter Green Circle (13 miles) before one brave (foolish?) leader can run 2 laps (26 miles!) 40
Devon 5th north Devon Scout Group are taking part in Tarka Trail Barnstaple to Bideford:- Cycling the Tarka Trail for Cubs and Scouts. 80
Devon 1st Pinhoe Cub Scouts Exeter are taking part:- Bellever and Laughter to Dartmoor:- 20 cubs will be finding their own way around a 4 mile route on Dartmoor taking in Bellever and Laughter Tor finishing off with activities in an around the East Dart River. 20
Dorset Canford Heath Scout Group are taking part in Wareham Dorset:- Weekend Camp at Buddens County Scout Camp Site. Hiking around Wareham Forests. Also completing the Scout Expedition Challenge Award. 25
Dorset WSJ 75 Scout Group are taking part along the south west coast path from west bay to Charmouth:- The WSJ unit 75 JURRASIC UNIT are taking a hike along the JURRASIC coast ending with an overnight stop in Charmouth with some Fossil hunting, along with a visit to the Heritage coastal centre https://charmouth.org/chcc/attenboroughs-sea-dragon/ 50
Down 9th Bangor Scout Group are taking part in North Down Coastal Path - Hollywood to Bangor:- Walking the coastal path between Hollywood and Bangor. Along the way we will be collecting rubbish on the path and beaches as apart of environmental conservation. 10
Durham Chester-le-Street District Scout Group are taking part in Durhan Scout adventure Centre Durham:- Walk in woodlands and along the bank of the River Wear approx 4km 100

Durham New Shildon all saints Scout Group are taking part at beamish museum:- we are going on a flag day around Beamish 35
East Lothian 1st Longniddry Cubs are taking part:- 20 Cubs walking part of the John Muir Way. Exploring rock pools, looking for fossils, noting flora and fauna. Sausage sizzle on the shore. A final activity for our Discovery John Muir Award 24
Essex 1st North Fambridge Scout Group are taking part in Maldon & East Essex:- District Event. Older Scouts will be hiking to an airfield, camping and then completing a hide and seek hike the following morning. Shorter courses and one day participation for younger ones as required. Event will be held on weekend of 5th/6th.before returning home. Event being held on 20 May. 100

Fife 13th fife (Rosyth Methodist) Scout Group are taking part hiking with other beaver colonies from the district. From Burntisland to Dalgety Bay. 14
Fife 62nd Fife Scout Group are taking part in Bennachie near Inverurie Scotland:- A circular walk commencing at Bennachie Visitors Centre taking in Oxen Craig and Mither Tap returning to Bennachie Visitors Centre 15
Fife 48th St Bridgets Beavers are taking part in Fife, Scotland, UK:- We are going to be walking along the costal path from Burntisland to Dalgety bay. We are joining other colonies from our District to do this. 20
Fife 77th Fife (Kelty church) Scout Group are taking part in Lochore meadows country park:- Taking the Beaver colony on a walk around the country park. 15
Forth 1st Stirlingshire Cubs are taking part in Stirling Riverside Heritage Walk:- This year, we will walk the length of the Stirling Riverside Heritage Walk. Cubs will wash and clean the information signs along the way. 45
Glamorgan 1st Abercarn will be taking part, night/midnight hike with bivvy/tent sleep over. 20
Glamorgan 2nd Llandaff Scout Group are taking part in Cardiff St.Fagans Circular Walk - Cardiff Ramblers:- Circular walk from Plymouth Arms St. Fagents following the old and new main line railway stations heading out to St.George's level crossing. Heading towards Peterston Super Ely and returning through the rural surroundings arriving at the perimeter walls of the old St. Fagens Castle grounds and finally arriving at the Plymouth Arms. 6 mile circular walk. 80
Glamorgan Llanishen & Lisvane Scout Group are taking part in Miskin Mill Scout Village. Cardiff North District Beaver Sleepover, "Around the World in 24 hours". The Beavers will be undertaking a round the world treasure hunt in the local woods, whilst at Miskin. 22
Gloucestershire "1st Woodmancote Scout Group are taking part in Hailes Abbey Near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire:- A 5 mile walk around some beautiful hills of the Cotswolds. " 20
Greater London 1st Coulsdon Warriors Cub Pack and we will be joining with many other Cub Packs across Croydon District in County Greater London South West (GLSW).  The Cubs will be playing Cubopoly (real life Monopoly) and trying to get to as many HQs and landmarks across Croydon as we can between 09:30 and 18:00 and will be meeting up for some fun and a BBQ at the end of the day. 50
Greater Manchester 14th. Huddersfield United Church Marsden Scout Group are taking part in Kirklees - Greater Manchester:- Route from Marsden Scout HQ via packhorse trail and Pennine Way to Hollingworth Lake near Rochdale. And back. 29 Km. 20
Greater Manchester 1st Offerton (St Albans) Saturn Beavers are taking part in Chadkirk Chapel & Country Park:- We are doing about 5 miles through woods & along a towpath, and doing it sponsored to raise money for WaterAid. 20
Greater Manchester 3rd Gee Cross Scout Group are taking part in Haughton Green, Hyde, Cheshire:- Taking Cubs and Scouts on a joint nature walk through the Haugton Vale Valley. 30

Guernsey Bailiwick of Guernsey Scout Group are taking part in Guernsey:- Instead of a St George's day parade and renewal of promise the 10 groups on the island have been invited to walk a section of the islands coast. With the Scouts walking more than the Cubs and the Cubs more than the Beavers. We are then ending in the Centre of the main town for a promise renewal 100
Guernsey Island scouts Scout Group are taking part in trail around the north coastal paths of Guernseyto St. Peter Port town. Scouts will hike 16.5km join up with the Cubs on route who will do 10km and join up with the Beavers who will do 6km. All sections will march through town with the band to a garden area where we will renew our Scouts laws and Promise. 300
Gwent 1st Llanmartin Cub Scout Pack are taking part:- we have a hike for Beavers,Cubs,Scouts in Wentwood forest and a picnic. 100
Gwent 1st Henllys Scout Group are taking part in Cwmbran - Henllys circular walk via Mynydd Maen and Mynydd Henllys:- Mountain walk passing a 19th Century Baptist church and Colliery. 20
Hampshire Baughurst Scouts are taking part in St Mary Bourne - Highclere:- A hilly hike from St Mary Bourne to Highclere following the Brenda Parker Way. One of our scouts Catherine, is hiking the whole length of the Brenda Parker Way fundraising for her 2019 jamboree place. This will be her 5th Hike Our older scouts will be hiking with full packs as training for the Brecon Beacons expedition later in the year. Our young Beaver scouts will be along as well to enjoy the walk and give moral support! 12
Hampshire 1st Hart Plain Scout Group are taking part in South Harting Down:- Three routes around the downs so Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can take part with their families with a picnic to finish. 30

Hertfordshire 1st Tring Scout Group are taking part in Ashridge/Ivinghoe Beacon:- Cubs start at Tom's Hill car park in Ashridge, walk via Berkhamsted Common to the Bridgewater Monument. There they meet with the Beavers who will join them on the rest of the walk to Ivinghoe Beacon. 40
Hereford And Worcester 3rd Bromsgrove Scout Group are taking part in Cambridge gliding centre:- A days flying followed by a hike. 16
Highlands & Island Inverness District are taking part in Culbain Forest, Nairn:- A hike for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts on the Forestry Commission trails through Culbain Forest near Nairn, Highland. 40
Highlands & Island 1st Nairn Scout Group are taking part in Brodie Castle:- Walk around Brodie Castle gardens and grounds whilst on weekend camp. 68
Inverness 6th Lochaber (the Braes) Scout Group are taking part 6 Mile hike along Caledonian Canal.Caledonian canal. Scout Night hike different location 5-6 mile circuit in woodland near Clunes. 35
Isle Of Man 3rd Castletown Scout Group are taking part in Isle of Man:- Cycle ride to Peel and back from Douglas, around 20 miles. 6
Jersey 6th Jersey Scout Group are taking part in Jersey:- Walk/ hike, then brief break for refreshments and food and then continue for night part of the event 60
Jersey 23rd Jersey Scout Group are taking part in Jersey:- A joint event with 6th Jersey. 30
Jersey 2nd Greve D'Azette Scout Group are taking part in the St Clements area:- Meet at Green Island beach and hike to 2nd headquarters via dolmen at Mont Ube. 30

Kent 27th All Saints Frindsbury Scout Group are taking part in Lodge Hill, Chattenden:- Bluebell and Orchid walk 70
Kent District event Scout Groups are taking part in Otford / Sevenoaks / Dartford:- A 21 mile hike based mainly along the Darent Valley Path. We have multiple start points so Scouts and their family / friends can join the route wherever they feel able. Everyone finishes at the park at the end of the day where they get their badges, drinks and snacks. 700

Kent 1st Cheriton Cubs are taking part in Folkestone:- A fun 12k around the coast from one end of Folkestone through to Seabrook then back to the Hut for our AGM & BBQ. 46
Kent 1st Cheriton Scout Group are taking part in Capel-Le-Ferne to Cheriton:- An all section walk meeting up the Beavers on the way back to our Headquarters. Followed by our AGM and YP awards and a BBQ. 90

Kent St Paul’s Scout Group are taking part in Aylesford Village:- Meeting in Aylesford and following the tow path along the River Medway to The Malta Inn. Then return along the same route to Aylesford for a Picnic. Linking the hike to a fundraising event to raise money for one of our Scouts who had been selected to attend World Scout Jamboree in 2019. 30
Lancashire 1st Fleetwood Beavers are taking part in Fleetwood:- Walking from the scout hut to the boating lake. 24
Lanarkshire, North 231st Glasgow (1st Kilsyth) Scout Group are taking part in Forth and Clyde Canal from Maryhill to Auchinstarry Basin:- This is part of a sponsored walk with Watch Us Grow a local charity. A 12 mile canalside walk with students, staff and supporters. The charity run a garden centre and the Scout Group have links with them through supporting events. 30
Leicestershire Castle Donington Scout Group are taking part in Oaks in Charnwood:- Starting from Oaks Campsite, heading through Charley Woods Nature reserve, to Copt Oak, returning via Charley Wood and back to Oaks Camp site 50
Leicestershire 38th Leicester (Enderby & Narborough) Scout Group are taking part in South Leicestershire between Dunton Bassett & Ullesthorpe:- We will be doing our annual family walk with each section walking their own distance but growing in number as they move along the route. Scouts will walk to meet the Cubs and the two sections will walk to meet the Beavers. We will end at a local campsite for a family picnic. 40
Leicestershire Whitwick Scout Group Scout Group are taking part in Johns Lee Wood Scout Campsite to Whitwick Scout Group HQ N W Leicestershire. This will be the usual cascad Explorers and Leaders start from Johns Lee Wood pick up the Scouts at Copt Oak, the Cubs at The Oaks campsite and finally the Beavers at the Monastery. This year we are unable to do the hike on the official JOTT date but it will take place on Sat 30th June instead. 55
Leicestershire 1st Claybrooke & Ullesthorpe Scout Group are taking part in Fosse Meadows:- Walkabout with Cubs and Beavers 20
Lincolnshire 27th Lincoln Thorpe on the Hill Scout Group are taking part along The Viking Way:- The Viking Way is a long distance footpath which starts on the banks of the Humber in the north and winds its way through Lincolnshire to finish on the shores of Rutland Water, a total of 235km (147 miles). We will walk a section of the Viking Way in Lincoln. 29
Lincolnshire 27th Lincoln Scout Group Beavers are taking part in Whisby Nature Park. 54
Lincolnshire 1st Metheringham Scout Group are taking part. We will be walking on the Spires and Steeples trail from Lincoln to Metheringham. Cubs will join the Scouts at Branston and Beavers will join the group at Nocton. Everyone will arrive back at the scout hut together for a BBQ. 80

Midlothian 35th Braid Beavers Scout Group are taking part in Water of Leith:- A circular walk along the Water of Leith starting and finishing at Spylaw Park in Colinton 15
Moray Hopeman Scout Group are taking part in Ben Aigan:- Family hike for Beaver Section, 5 mile hike up local hill (listed as a Marilyn), elevation 471m. 60
Norfolk 1st Gorleston Cubs are taking part in Norwich:- As part of a weekend camp the cubs will be taking part in a nature hike. 30
Norfolk 1st Great Yarmouth Scout Group are taking part in Bluebell Woods. Gorleston, Norfolk:- We will be hiking through the woods, following a geo-cache trail and working on tracking signs. 20

Northamptonshire 1st Corby Scout Group are taking part in Gretton - Fineshades:- Hiking 8 miles then staying in Danish shelters. 13

Northumberland 2nd Seaton Delaval Scout Group are taking part in Seaton Sluice to South Beach, Blyth:- a walk along beach footpath from Seaton Sluice to Blyth 100
Oxfordshire Grove Scout Group are taking part in Grove:- Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will hike together, then share tea and cake back at our HQ. 80
Oxfordshire 9th Abingdon (Appleton) Scout Group are taking part in Appleton:- Beaver Scouts walking to achieve their hikers badge so will be carrying suitable kit, plus food and drink. We aim to walk for around 2-2.5 hours in the afternoon as it is our County awards day, and we need to be there am. 10
Pembrokeshire Carreg Ddraig Scout Group are taking part in St David's peninsula: - Several of the local explorer units will be meeting up outside of St David's and walking a section of the coastal path finishing on Whitesands beach for a BBQ and games with the city scout Troop (1 Tyddewi) 20
Powys 1st Crickhowell and Llangattock Scouts are taking part:- Tudor Cule Scout Campsite, Llangenny, Powys We are holding a weekend hammock camp with a hike to a standing stone in the area to complete the Expedition Challenge Badge. We are hoping our Beaver Colony will join us for the hike and camp skills after. 17
Scotland, East 10th Fife (1st Cupar) Scout Group are taking part in Tentsmuir Forest and the Fife Coastal Path:- Various lengths of walk on the coastal path all finishing together to renew promise at Tentsmuir Forest. 120
Scotland, East 17th Perthshire Scout Group are taking part in the hills around Aberfeldy, Weem & Dull:- Hike up to Loch Farleyer behind Weem hill and then camping in forest by Camserney Burn and a wee hike back down the hill home the next day. 15
Scotland, North East Fraserburgh Scout Group are taking part between Fraserburgh and Inverallochy Ice cream shops:- Ice-Cream Hike! 20
Scotland, South East 88th Anderson Pack Scout Group are taking part in South East Scotland. 25
Shropshire Boreatton Scout Group are taking part, probably the Breiddens:- Beavers, Cubs and Scouts walking separate routes and hopefully meeting up together at the end. 70
Somerset "Wells Pheasants Explorer Scout Unit are taking part. We plan to hike or cycle west along the West Mendip Way, finishing in Wells, Somerset. finishing in Wells, Somerset." 15
Staffordshire 1st Chase Terrace Seeonee Cub Pack are taking part in Cannock Chase:- Scouts Cubs and Beavers will be walking approx 6 Miles on Cannock Chase from Milford Common to Marquis Drive 50

Staffordshire 59th Newchapel Beavers are taking part in Bathpool Country Park:- Beavers are taking part in a walk along the footpaths around one of our local country parks then when we reach the park having a teddy bears picnic and walking back 15
Surrey 3rd Carshalton Scout Group are taking part in Box Hill, Surrey:- Spy mission treasure trail around Box Hill & Headley Heath. 30
Sussex, East 1st Herstmonceux Scout Group have expressed an interest in taking part. 50
Sussex, West 1st Yapton & Ford Scout Group are taking part in Yapton Village:- A village night hike for Cubs, Scouts and Explorers followed by a sleepover. Beavers will join us in the morning and walk a shorter route. 50
Sussex, West 1st Harting Scout Group are taking part, a 2 hour walk over South Downs, and around South Harting. 25
Sussex, West 1st Turners Hill and Crawley Down Scout Group are taking part in Crawley Down:- Family Hike followed by BBQ social. 100
Sussex, West 4th Horsham Scout Group are taking part in North Downs, Surrey:- We intend to hike along part of the Pilgrims Way and then camp on the Saturday night, before making our way back to Horsham. 18

Sussex, West East Grinstead District will be on the trail in Ashdown Forest, The Beavers and Cubs will have a two hour circular walk round the Chellwood Gate area. 200
Tyneside Wallsend District are taking part. Tynemouth District Scouts are walking in Durham:- We are going to walk a footpath from Consett to Rowlands Gill. It is the old mineral railway line route from the Steel Works in Consett (now closed) to transport steel produced to the River Tyne and fuel and ore back to the Steel Works for smelting. Tony Robinson of Black Adder and Time team fame did a historical dig in the area to discover the early smelting industry history which took place in this area and along the route of the mineral line. It runs along the side of a beautiful wooded valley with lots of wild life such as Roe Deer, Red Kites, Squirrels, Foxes and numerous species of birds, Tits, Finches, Owls, Herons. 55
West Lothian 17th West Lothian Scout Group are taking part in Bonaly, East Pentland Hills:- The Explorers and scouts are going to do a night hike and then join the Beavers and Cubs to do a short hike on the Saturday morning. 25
West Midlands Walsall District Beavers are taking part in Sandwell Valley:- Walsall District Beavers will be hiking round Sandwell Valley for 6km. We follow a photo trail round swan pool and onto the priory for campfire songs and drinks. The hike continues on through the sensory trail into Sandwell Valley farm. 60

Wiltshire North Wiltshire District Beavers are taking part in Devizes Wharf:- We will be combining with the Canal and River Trust at the Caen Hill Locks in Devizes to organise a hike along the canal with activities and visits to the floating museum on the way. 110

Wiltshire 3rd Salisbury Sea Scouts are taking part in Avon Valley Path. Walk from Fordingbridge, Hampshire to Salisbury, Wiltshire:- The Scout Troop intends to walk from Fordingbridge to Downton on Day 1 with a camp overnight. The second day will be on to Salisbury and back to our Scout HQ. We shall explore the fauna and flora of the river valley. 25

Wiltshire 1st Hilperton Scout Group are taking part in Melksham/Semington/Staverton area:- As a Group, including friends and families, we will be walking about 12 miles or so. Our sponsored charity this year is Water Aid, and so we will be doing this as a sponsored walk, covering about half the distance carrying buckets of water, as people have to do in so many other parts of the word every day. 35

Yorkshire West 24th St Pauls Sowerby Bridge Cubs are taking part in Calderdale:- We will be catching the train to Todmorden 9 miles away and walking back to Sowerby Bridge over 2 days. Saturday will see the longest walk from Todmorden, climbing up Stoodley Pike, dropping down into Cragg Vale before a final climb onto Sowerby moors and our overnight stop at Steep Lane chapel. If the weather is fine we will camp in the field, or if poor sleep in the church hall. Sunday will be gentle stroll of 3 miles down the hill and back along the canal. 30

AUSTRALIA, South Australia 1st Mount Gambier Scout Group are taking part in Honan Mint Trails, Kangaroo Flat Road, Glencoe SA:- Honan Native Forest Reserve and are named after Mentha atrolilacina, which was discovered here in 2007. The trails begin at either the Swamp Gum or Wildflower carparks and are clearly marked with green, blue and purple trail markers. Time allowed for walking the trails is based on an average speed of 3km/hour. The trails follow reasonably flat sandy tracks with slight undulations with boardwalks providing year-round access through wetter areas. 50
AUSTRALIA, South Australia 1st Gawler Scout Group are taking part in Warren Conservation Park, Mt Lofty Ranges:- Scouts and Leaders from the Friday Troop, 1st Gawler Scout Group, will be walking the loop trail in the Warren Conservation Park in the Mt Lofty Ranges. This will be a Pioneer level day hike expected to take 4-5 hours. This route is also part of the Heysen Trail that we regularly use for hiking experiences. 10

POLAND, Dolny 2 WDH Wiercipiety im. Adama Mickiewicza Scout Group are taking part in Kotowice, Awski Poviat, Lower Silesia:- We will set out with the families of our scouts and trainers on foot and with bicycles to meet near the lookout tower in Kotowice. From there, we will send cards to our friends and we will make a family picnic. Our disabled friends will reach us and together we will make a banner of our team for the Scout Sail in Gdansk, which we are going to in August 2018. 45

HELENA, Jamestown 1st Jamestown Scout Troop on St Helena Island are doing an overnight hike to the top of Mundens Hill to stay overnight in an old underground ammunitions bunker, which used to form part of the defence system of St Helena back in the old days when it’s position in the south Atlantic Ocean was of significance to ships rounding the Cape to the Indian Ocean. 15

USA, Minnesota Northern Star Council International Committee Scout Group are taking part in Fort Snelling Historic Trail:- Minnehaha Falls Regional Park. This is a 5-mile hike. We'll stop at all of the historic monuments, read the markers, and answer the questions on the official form. Scouts will earn the Historic Trail Patch. We will also pick up litter, so it will count as service hours toward BSA requirements. Lastly, two seasoned bird guides will point out birds along the way (it will be the height of the spring migration along Mississippi Flyway, so there should be some excellent opportunities to spot species that we don't see here otherwise. That can go toward various advancement requirements and/or Bird Study merit badge. 30
